Do Halloween Parties get you stumped every year for a great costume? Tired of spending big money on something you'll never wear again? Our team of stylists came up with some awesome suggestions using things you may already own.
WE LOVE LUCY
One of our favorite funny ladies, who wouldn't love to be Lucille Ball for the night? Dressing the part is cinchy. Use a basic blue sleeveless dress, like our Sleeveless Pocketed Swing Dress, a white button up blouse, an apron, simple black heels, and a blue headband. You can even use a temporary red hair rinse to bring home the prize.
AUDREY HEPBURN
Maybe glam is a little more your style. Easy peasy. Take an LBD, (little black dress), like our pocketed version, add pearls, a tiara, gloves and voila!
"SANDY" FROM GREASE
Who was cooler than Olivia Newton-John in the last scene from Grease? Her blonde curly locks paired with her skin tight catsuit made every man drool. While you may not have a catsuit floating around in your closet, you can pull off the same idea with a black wrap top and black yoga pants. Complete your look with a black leather jacket, (or a comfortable less expensive substitute), and red hot heels. You'll have them singing, "You're the One that I want", in no time!
OUR FAVORITE WAR ICON: ROSIE THE RIVETER
Rosie is great reminder to all women to stand up and be counted. Her style is simple with a denim shirt and olive work pants. If your denim shirt has seen better days, we have a comfortable substitute with our new Stretch Denim Shirtdress paired with Olive Jeggings. We even have the polka dot scarf to complete the look. Be prepared to take on the world if you choose this look, (and send us a snapshot)!
No matter how you choose to dress for the Halloween Holiday, stand proud, own your look, and don't be afraid to feel beautiful!
